Here is an example of a lesson plan for an English teacher for nursery students:
Lesson 01 Date:________
Title:- Introducing the Alphabet
Objective:- To introduce students to the English alphabet and teach them the names and sounds of each letter.
Materials:-
Alphabet chart
Flashcards of each letter
Whiteboard and markers
Picture books featuring the alphabet
Procedure:-
Introduction (5 minutes)
Greet the students and introduce the lesson by explaining that they will be learning about the English alphabet today.
Show them the alphabet chart and ask if they recognize any of the letters.
Letter introduction (10 minutes)
Introduce each letter one by one using flashcards, saying the name of the letter and the sound it makes.
After introducing each letter, ask the students to repeat the name and sound of the letter back to you.
Have the students practice writing each letter on the whiteboard.
Alphabet practice (15 minutes)
Using the alphabet chart, practice reciting the alphabet with the students.
Play alphabet games, such as "I Spy" or "Alphabet Bingo", to reinforce letter recognition and sounds.
