Short English stories to build Vocabulary

Day 1 (2/05/2023).         Importance of the word Sorry

Story Telling to teach the significance of word sorry

Once upon a time, there was a boy named Timmy. Timmy loved to play with his toys, but sometimes he would accidentally break them. One day, Timmy broke his sister's favorite doll. She started crying and Timmy felt bad.

Timmy's mom explained to him that he should say sorry to his sister and try to make things right. Saying sorry means you feel bad about what you did and you want to make things better.

So, Timmy said sorry to his sister and promised to be more careful with her toys. He even offered to help her fix the broken doll.

His sister forgave him and they hugged. Timmy felt much better knowing that he did the right thing by apologizing and making things right. From then on, Timmy tried to be more careful with his toys and things that belonged to others.

The moral of the story is that it's important to take responsibility for our actions and apologize when we make a mistake. Saying sorry shows that we care about the feelings of others and want to make things right. It's never too late to apologize and try to make amends. By doing so, we can restore trust, build stronger relationships, and become better people.
